Feminist Poetry Chat is a relaxed and pretty quiet Discord channel I host for women who are interested in the intersection of feminism & poetry & want to be part of a supportive community that's using poetry to expand & express their understanding of women's issues & history. I receive quite a few messages from women who tell me about feeling isolated in their growing awareness of gender inequity in their churches, communities, and our world in general. This group exists to mitigate that loneliness and promote conversations around women's voices in poetry and how poetry can help us process our experiences, tell our stories, and imagine better worlds.
